Selena R "Mama" Delgado

Selena R. “Mama” Delgado, 16, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 10, 2020 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Rome, NY on January 5, 2004, the daughter of Sandra Grant and Yeye Delgado.
She loved to play volleyball or do arts and crafts. Her greatest joy was playing with her sister Mandy, doing hair, makeup or playing games. She could light up a room with her energy to bring out the best in people and brighten their mood. Selena was a one of a kind person who would inspire those around her.
She is predeceased by her uncles, Bobby Brodock, Donald “Unc” Thayer, and her cousin Lyla Harrington.
She is survived by her mother and her fiancé Joey “Grandpa” Kroboth, her sister, Mandy, her aunt Amanda “Aunt Mana” and her husband Trever “Uncle Daddy” Martin and their children Trever Jr., Jason and Ethan, her grandparents, Charlotte and Ricardo Hollers, her aunt and uncle Bruce Harrington and Nora Rougier and their son Brock, and Jessi “Buggie” and Chris Brundage and their children, and her best friend Kristen “Tin” Rougier.

There will be no public calling hours or services. A celebration of life will be private at a later date.
