Shauneen R Casey (Ryan)

Mrs.Shauneen R. Casey, 85, of Plattsburgh passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on November 2, 1933 the daughter of John and Ellen (Harris) Ryan.
Shauneen taught at Monty St. School and later worked for Clinton County Department of Motor Vehicle. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, completing jigsaw puzzles, and attending her children’s and grandchildren’s extracurricular events.
She is predeceased by her parents, her husband John F. “Jack” Casey, her son Scott Kevin Casey, a grandson, Kellen Scott Casey, her sister Geraldine Urich, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Hilda Casey, Robert Casey, Richard and Sandra Casey and Joanne Clain.
She is survived by her children; Richard K. “Rick” Casey and his wife Cristi, Shauna E. Casey and her partner John Zielinski, Kristi C. Raville and her husband Gregory, Erin K. Casey and her partner Elizabeth Dobson, Joseph R. Casey and his wife Julie, Kerry C. Hynes and her husband John, Colleen C. Flynn and her husband Jamie all of Plattsburgh, John S. Casey and his wife Cynthia of Keeseville, 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Joseph Clain and sister-in-law Elenor Casey and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Church. Interment will be at a later date in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Keeseville Volunteer Fire Department.
