Shirley M Dresser (Ashline)

Shirley M. Dresser, 82, of Plattsburgh, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on March 23, 1936, the daughter of the Wilford and Clare Ashline. Shirley was a longtime bartender in the area for over 30 years. She is survived by her children; Earl Dresser Jr. and his companion Jane, Joseph Dresser and his wife Cynthia, Cheryl Evans and her husband John, Misty Whitten and her husband Daniel, and Shawn Dresser, many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, her siblings, Anna Mae Hodgeman and her husband Robert, Delores White, Geraldine Collins, Violet Lacombe and her husband Ignatius, Francis Ashline and his wife Patricia, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Earl Dresser Sr., and her siblings; James and Donald Ashline . Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
