Shirley J Deloria

Shirley Jane Deloria, 83, of Plattsburgh, New York passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the CVPH Medical Center.
Shirley was born in Champlain, NY, on January 14th 1936, the daughter of Raymond and Martha (King) Keddy. She graduated from Champlain High School. After graduation, Shirley was employed by the National Commercial Bank in Champlain, where she met her lifetime companion, husband William (Bill) Deloria. Shirley and Bill were married on April 7th, 1956.
A lifelong resident of the North Country, Shirley spent her time as a home maker, and later in life volunteered her efforts assisting cancer patients at the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
Shirley was predeceased by both her parents, and her younger brother Richard “Dick” Keddy. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William, sons; Jim (Kate), Wilton NY and Mike (Kristen), Plattsburgh NY. Shirley also leaves behind grandchildren Peter (Betsy), Andrew (Hillary), Maggie (Tom), Lauren, Hallie and Sara, and great granddaughter Molly Deloria. Shirley is survived by her brothers; Donald (Ann) Keddy and Robert Keddy, several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pine Harbour, Meadowbrook and the Progressive Unit at CVPH for making her comfortable during this past year.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be to St. Peter’s Church or the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
