Shirley J Forgette

Plattsburgh Mrs. Shirley J. Forgette, 76, of Monty Street, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2008 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on June 2, 1932, the daughter of William and Yvonne (Trudeau) Lyman. She graduated from Our Lady of Victory Academy and was employed at Merkel's Department Store for several years and later was employed at Notre Dame School. She enjoyed bowling , bingo ,ceramics and knitting. She is survived by 2 sons "Steven and Lois Forgette of Plattsburgh, Lawrence Forgette and his companion Debbie of Missouri, her grandchildren Stephanie Couture and her husband Nathan of Dannemora, Joshua and Kerry Forgette of Dannemora, two great grandchildren- Kaitlyn Goodwin and Isaac Couture, and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, a brother William Lyman Jr. and her former husband Peter Forgette died before her. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am from St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's cemetery in Coopersville.
