Shirley P Giguere

Mrs. Shirley "Pat" Giguere, 85, formerly of Roderick Rock Apartments in Morrisonville passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at the UVHN-CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on March 29, 1930 the daughter of Fabian Henry and Cora Mae (Siddon) Beauharnois. Pat graduated from Our Lady of Victory Academy Class of 1947 and taught fifth grade at Our Lady of Victory Academy. She married Richard George Giguere in Plattsburgh on August 26, 1950. She retired from the Grand Union in Plattsburgh after eighteen years. Pat was a longtime supporter of MAI, Notre Dame and Seton Bingos where she volunteered weekly for years as a caller and pull tab seller. She was an active member of Our Lady of Victory Church where she belonged to the Altar Rosary Society. Pat was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband Richard "Dick" Giguere of Plattsburgh, her children; Richard F. Giguere of Cohoes, Michael Giguere and his fiancé Brenda Liberty of Schuyler Falls, Julie (Giguere) Baughn and her husband Terri of Plattsburgh and Scott Giguere and his fiancé Anala Ferland of Plattsburgh, seven grandchildren; Christopher St. Dennis, Stephanie Giguere, Bryan Giguere, Zachary Cochran, Dakota Giguere, Tyler Baughn, Gabrielle Baughn, three great grandchildren; Ethan, Maxwell and Caitlynn, two brothers-in-law; Loren Giguere of Morrisonville, Desmond Giguere of Chazy, a sister-in-law Theresa Rasdall of Kansas, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church with the Rev William G. Reamer, Pastor presiding.
