Shirley Hope Tourville

Plattsburgh Mrs. Shirley Hope Tourville, 76, formerly of LaPierre Lane, Morrisonville, NY passed away on Wednesday, February, 13, 2013 at Pine Harbour. She was born in Ellenburg, NY on May 2, 1936 the daughter of Edward and Helen (Dodge) LaVallee. Shirley married Donald Tourville on October 1, 1960 at St. Edmund's Church in Ellenburg. She worked as a nurse's aide at CVPH Medical Center. Shirley enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Donald Tourville. Shirley is survived by four children; Jeffrey Tourville and his companion Jodi Charland of Morrisonville, Randy Tourville and his wife Donna of Plattsburgh, Brenda Rabideau and her husband Chad of Morrisonville and Rebecca Duquette and her husband David of Morrisonville, eight grandchildren; Donald James, Brian, Brittany, Matthew, Makayla, Gabrielle, Cooper and Crystal, three great grandchildren, Troy, Dhamon and Caitlynne, one brother Guy LaVallee and his wife Sally of Poughkeepsie, an aunt Margaret Whalen of FL, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins also survive her. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Interment will be at a later date at St. Alexander's Cemetery. Donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Pine Harbour.
