Shirley F Trombly

Plattsburgh Shirley F. Trombly, 73 of Jersey Swamp Road, Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Saturday December 26, 2009 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on October 27, 1936, the daughter of James and Minnie (Bulriss) Boswell. Shirley graduated from Altona Central School in 1957. Shirley and her husband Henry owned and operated the former Ideal Bar and Grill in Plattsburgh and later she worked for Golden Arrow Bus Line. Shirley was a wonderful cook, she enjoyed baking and canning. She spent many hours caring for her gardens and loved camping and berry picking. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Henry J. Trombly and her parents. She is survived by two sons; Dale Trombly and his companion Judy Starr of Plattsburgh and Allen Trombly and his wife Brenda also of Plattsburgh. Two grandchildren; Amanda Trombly and Jeffrey Mooney, both of Plattsburgh and a great granddaughter Allison Mooney. Calling Hours will be held on Monday December 28, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be later next year in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
