Silas F Trombley Jr

Silas F. Trombley, Jr. of Plattsburgh, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Plattsburgh on May 17, 1938, the son of Silas and Evelyn (Ouimette) Trombley.
Silas was a member of the U.A. Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union No. 773 retiring in 1999 after 42 years. He enjoyed trips to the casino, summer days at Saratoga race track, playing golf with his sons and following Syracuse athletics and watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Denise (Gagne) , his children; Linda Conway (Steve) of Cheshire, Ma., Scott Trombley (Tammy) of Plattsburgh and Michael Trombley (Carrie) of Morrisonville, his grandchildren; Michaela, Michael, and Stephanie, a sister; Shirley Amell, a niece Jacqueline Bellew and nephew Richard Bushey.
Following Silas’ wishes, there will be no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family and burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery in the Spring.
