Stella L Deyo

Stella L. Deyo, 84, of West Chazy, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at her home with family by her side and under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Plattsburgh on August 18, 1937, the daughter of Francis and Stella (Meyers) Paul.
Stella had a love for country music, in her earlier years played the accordion and piano. She had a green-thumb enjoying being in her garden and canning. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, reading, or out camping. She will be missed for her cooking and taking care of all her family as well as her neighbors. Above all else she loved her family.
She is survived by her children, Joanne Sheridan and her husband Brian, Laurie Sears, Robert “Bob” Sears and his wife Michelle, Fred Sears and his wife Becky, Shelly Peete and her companion Frank Cody, her grandchildren Zina, Joshua, Marcqui, Jayden, Landon, Matthew, Kristopher, Stephanie, Bailey, Aric, Kali, and step-children, Linda Deyo and her companion Jesse Miller, and Karen Provost and her husband Jon, her siblings; Joanne Deyo, Patricia Deyo, and Francis “Butch” Paul, and her extended family.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Alden Deyo, step-son A. John Deyo Jr, her grandson Ryan Robert Sears, and brother Bill Paul.
There will be no public calling hours. Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh. In lieu of flowers Stella's family requests donations be made to Hospice of the North Country.
