Stephen D. C. Mischler, 33, of Wildflower Lane, Morrisonville, NY, passed away on Saturday November 3, 2018. He was born in Wamego, Kansas on March 5, 1985 the son of Scott and Celia (Brideau) Mischler. Steve graduated from Essex High School in Essex Junction, Vermont in 2003. He went on to graduate from North Country Community College with a degree in Applied Science, Graphic Design. Steve continued his education at SUNY Plattsburgh where he will be remembered for working at WQKE, the campus radio station as DJ Sneaks and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts, Audio Radio Production, Digital Media Design. After graduating he worked in Rochester and Plattsburgh; most recently his favorite job was working in construction with his father. Steve loved spending time with his family, his beloved dog Primo, music, art, fishing, body building, reading and video games. He was predeceased by his grandparents Allan and Concetta Brideau and Donald and Cora Mischler. Steve is survived by his parents Scott "Mitch" and Celia Mischler of Morrisonville, his brothers LCDR Gregory Mischler, USN and his wife Michelle stationed at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and Patrick Mischler of Scottsdale, Arizona, his nephews Arthur, Samuel and Benjamin Mischler, his aunts and uncles Charles and Jane Brideau, Allan and Martha Brideau, Jr., Michael Mischler and Brendan Gallagher, Bradley and Mary (Mischler) Formaker and several great aunts, great uncles and cousins also survive him. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday November 7, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday November 8, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. James Church in Cadyville, burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
