Steven Barcomb

Steven W. Barcomb, 69, of Parker Road in West Chazy, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake with family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on March 21, 1952, the son of the late Alexander and Ione (Brown) Barcomb.
Steven was employed as a supervisor for Wyeth in Chazy for many years and later for EMT of CVPH for 11 years. He was 30 year member of the West Chazy Fire Department in different capacities. He enjoyed fishing and hunting especially with a muzzleloader.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carol (Gonyea) Barcomb, his children and their spouses; Todd (April) Barcomb, Niki Van Nortwick, his siblings and their spouses; Marlene (Howard) McCormick, Janice (Richard) Reyell, Gary (Gisela) Barcomb, Armond (Kathy) Barcomb, Jeffrey (Cassie) Barcomb, 4 grandchildren; Madison, Ava, Ryan and Shayna, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother Jerry Barcomb, and a sister Carolyn Cordero.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be offered to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
