Sue Ann Ducatte, 59, of Plattsburgh passed away suddenly Thursday, July 23, 2020 at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont. She was born in Plattsburgh on January 31, 1961 the daughter of Roy and Thelma (Bulriss) Ashline.
Sue worked for Reale Construction Company for many years. She was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America Local 1822. Sue enjoyed going out to eat, playing quick draw, fishing, spending time on Lake Champlain volunteering at St. Peter’s Church and spending time with family and friends, especially Saturday mornings with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents and a sister Crystal Armstrong.
Sue is survived by her son Joe Filion and his fiancé Brandy Wirag, two grandchildren; Karley and Conner Filion, her companion Floyd LaValley, four sisters; Nancy Daniels, Penny (Bob) Armstrong, Kay (Jim) Jeffries, Liz (Donnie) Hicks, one brother Dale Ashline, several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday, July 31, 2020 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10:00am at St. Peter’s Church.
Due to current NYS COVID-19 restrictions, facemasks and social distancing are required.
Memorial donations in Sue’s name may be offered to the Elmore SPCA, St. Peter’s Church or to Joe.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.
