Susan E "Sue" Stevens

Susan E. “Sue” Stevens, 71, of Crescent Drive, Plattsburgh, NY passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Plattsburgh on March 30, 1948 the daughter of Dewey and Adelaide (Parrotte) Rennell.
Sue graduated from Our Lady of Victory Secretarial School and went to work at Plattsburgh State University in the payroll department. She then went to work for the City of Plattsburgh serving in several departments and retired from the City Chamberlain’s Office. Sue enjoyed kayaking, camping and spoiling her grandchildren.
Sue was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of forty nine years, Bruce Stevens, her children; Scott (Caryn) Stevens, Kimberlee (Matthew) Sorrell, Michelle Duval (John DeAngelo), her siblings; Carol Mitchell, Thomas (Carol) Rennell, Donna (Bill) Belanger, Kathy (Michael) O’Connor, eleven grandchildren, a brother-in-law Herbert (Carol) Stevens; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday, October 25, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 9:00 a.m at Our Lady of Victory Church.
Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
