Arlt, 65, of Seneca Drive passed away on Monday, August 18, 2014 at CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on December 6, 1948 the daughter of George Joseph and Beatrice Viola (Rock) Arlt. Sue graduated from St. Peter's High School class of 1966. She was a bookkeeper and retired from the North Country Center for Independence. Sue enjoyed dining at Michigan's Plus every Tuesday with her son. She loved making her own jewelry and was a master of "do it yourself" home projects. Sue's yearly Christmas contribution was her famous potato pie for breakfast and all of her presents were wrapped with her homemade wrapping paper. She was an active participate in the yearly yard sale held in Champlain Park. Survivors include her son Tone' Arlt and his wife Elizabeth of Plattsburgh, her sister Carol St. Denis of Plattsburgh, her brother Paul Arlt and his wife Jean of Plattsburgh. Her nieces Kerry Sanders of Dumfries, VA, Jennifer Terrillion and her husband Rich of Dumfries, VA, Shelly St. Denis of Plattsburgh and Tammy St. Denis of Chicago, IL. Nephews include Eric McDowell and his husband Scott of Morrisonville. She was predeceased by her parents George and Beatrice Arlt and her brother- in-law Hal St. Denis. Calling hours will be held Friday, August 22, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m; a short memorial service will be held afterwards. A reception will follow at the Fourth Ward Club on Montcalm Avenue. Memorial donations can be made to the family.
