Suzanne L Conners

Suzanne L. “Coach Sue” Conners, 87, was born on July 27, 1933 and passed away on April 6, 2021 in Salisbury, NC.
She worked for St. John’s Academy for 30 years. She also coached girls softball for the City of Plattsburgh for 50 years. Sue was a member of the Catholic daughters and the American Legion Post 20 Auxillary.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Hazel Carpenter, her husband John Conners, son Anthony Conners, sister Marguerite Bowers, brother in law Lyle Bowers, brothers Harry and Earl Carpenter, sisters in law Mary and Joan Carpenter, nephews Larry Bowers, Larry Carpenter, Peter Carpenter and grand nephew Michael John Carpenter.
She is survived by her son Thomas Conners, daughter in law Janice Conners, granddaughter Stephanie Conners, grandson Anthony Conners and his wife Jasmine Conners, great grandchildren; Nathaniel Thomas, Makayla Conners and Monica Conners and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. John’s Church. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
