Sylvia N Macey

Plattsburgh Sylvia N. Macey, 86, of Bushey Blvd., Plattsburgh, NY passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the UVMHN-CVPH Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on January 11, 1931 the daughter of Warren and Eva Breyette. Sylvia enjoyed flower gardening, playing cards, especially rummy, traveling to Florida and spending time with family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and several siblings. Sylvia is survived by five daughters; Sylvia Matott and her husband Maynard of Bonita Springs, FL, Gail Deno and her husband Brian of West Chazy, NY, Phyllis Macey of Champlain, Beverly Kusy and her husband Marty of St. Augustine, FL, Deborah Vaughan and her husband Thomas of Plattsburgh, two sons; John Macey and his wife Donna of Plattsburgh, Kenneth Macey and his companion Joan Collins of Plattsburgh; two sisters and two brothers; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home. Interment will be Monday July 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be offered to Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
