Tammy Devins

Tammy L. Devins, 55, of Cadyville, passed suddenly, Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Rochester, NH on July 28, 1966, the daughter of Dennis and Patricia (Hobbs) LaVarnway.

She was a competitor at heart, participating in bowling and corn-hole tournaments as well as testing her luck at the casino. Tammy enjoyed being outside, feeding and watching the birds, going fishing or taking trips. She loved most being with her family, friends, in particular her grandchildren. She’ll be remembered for searching for the perfect card for those special holidays and events.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene, her children; Amanda LaVarnway, Kayla Trask (Joe), Amanda Lee Devins (Brian), Eugene Devins Jr. (Amanda Lynn), her sisters Lynn Blanchard and Barbie LaVarnway, her grandchildren; Jaelynn, Briar, Lilith, Chase, Mason, Danyka, her mother-in-law, Maryann “Ma” Foley, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, her son Michael, her brother David LaVarnway, and her granddaughter Jillian.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 3:00-4:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
