Terraine C. Spurdens, 74, of Turner Road in Morrisonville, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at her home with family by her side and under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 2, 1945, the daughter of the late Herbert and Emma Lukey.
Terraine was employed as a Registered Nurse at CVPH Medical Center for many years and was a member of the Quilting Club of the North Country and was the owner of Woodland Quilters. She loved arts and crafts, gardening and enjoyed watching Criminal Minds and reading crime novels. She was an avid fan of the Rock Band Queen.
She is survived by her children and their spouses; Lisa and William Spurdens-McCoy of New York, Douglas Scott Spurdens of Colorado, her sisters; Sandra Castellanos and Debbie Desy, both of Washington State , her grandchildren; Alexander and Christopher Spurdens, Keanan Spurdens, Guinevere Spurdens, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert Spurdens , her parents, and a son James Darrell Spurdens
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery
Due to the current pandemic, face coverings and social distancing will be required during services. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh.
