Plattsburgh Terrence "Terry" P. Rodriguez, 73, of South Platt Street, Plattsburgh, NY passed away October 20, 2016 at the Clinton County Nursing Home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY, the son of the late Vincent Rodriguez and Mary (Nelson). He was predeceased by his brother Royce Rodriguez and his sister America Atkinson. He is survived by his wife Debi M. Rodriguez of Plattsburgh, NY, three children: Johnathan P. Rodriguez and wife Vanessa Rodriguez of Rouses Point, NY, Robert J. Sweatt and wife Alicia Sweatt of Waterford, NY, and Sarah Hackett and husband Derrick Hackett of Peru, NY, several sisters and brothers: Gail O'Conner and her husband Jerry from Chateguay, NY, Charles and wife Pat Rodriguez of Ellenburg, NY, Molly Zappelloni of Redford, NY, Sylvia Pliscofsky of Fort Edward, NY, and Paul and wife Dee Rodriguez of Niagara Falls, NY. Terry has nine grandchildren; Hailey, Elisa, Taylor, Wyatt, Lexiann, Jackson, Charlee, Connor, and Robert. He also survived by an adopted granddaughter Kimesha Brown and his former daughter-in-law Stacey Rodriguez. Terry married Debi M. Rodriguez in 1979. He worked for the City of Plattsburgh Public Works where he retired as a senior mechanic. Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing, a little quick draw, and socializing with his many friends and loved ones. Terry loved gardening, tinkering around the backyard and under the hood of a car, and of course a Sunday ride. Terry spent much of his free time enjoying his family and friends at the Dew Drop Inn hunting camp in Lyon Mountain, NY. Calling hours will be Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church. In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations toward the purchase of a memorial bench to be placed in the courtyard of the Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh, NY.
