Terry M Cech

Terry M. Cech, 77, South Catherine Street, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Thursday February 20, 2020 at Meadowbrook Healthcare with his loving family by his side. He was born in Poland, NY, on December 2, 1942 the son of Milton and Dorothy (Pierce) Cech.
Terry joined the United States Air Force in 1966. He served his country for 21 years retiring as a Master Sergeant at Plattsburgh Air Force Base. After retiring he worked at Dubrey’s Service Station and later at Georgia Pacific in Plattsburgh.
He was a member of the Prayer Breakfast Group at the Church of Christ. Terry enjoyed watching old western shows, John Wayne movies and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, a sister Margaret “Peggy” and his first wife Sharon Cech who passed away in 1987.
Terry is survived by his wife Debby Cech, his sons; Terrence Michael Cech and his wife Lisa of Plattsburgh, Brian Cech and his wife Cheryl of Plattsburgh, and John Cech of Plattsburgh, his daughters; Maria Brown and her companion Geoffrey Titherington of Florida, Jeri-Ann Brown of Plattsburgh, Ginny Brown of Plattsburgh, grandchildren; Bradley, Steven, Mighty Matthew, Brian Michael, Aaron, Sharyn, Sarah, Katlyn and her husband Cody, Chelsea, Christina, Carrie, George, Eddie, Dennis, D’Esta, Cincere, Haley, Kailee, great grandchildren; Madisyn, Coltyn, Eastyn, Gracelyn, Kinsley, Brayden, Tessie and Jonah, a sister Norma Jenkins of Waterville, NY, close family Jimmy and Dianne Provost.
Calling hours will be held on Monday February 24, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh, a funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with full military honors with be later in the year at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
