Theodore D. Trevail

Theodore (Ted) D. Trevail, 71, of Cadyville passed away June 25, 2024 at CVPH Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Catskill, New York on September 8th, 1952, son of Albertus and Ruth Trevail. Ted moved to the North Country in 1986, where he was very active in the community. Ted worked for the USDA for over 30 years and walked most of the Adirondacks taking soil samples and mapping surveys. His immediate and extended family were very important to him. His family also extended to his congregations at Lyon Mountain and Moores Methodist Churches where he was a pastor for several years. He loved to sing in his barbershop chorus and quartet as a member of the Cumberland Bay Barbershoppers. He loved the outdoors and taking his children on adventures. Rose loved to ride on his shoulders while hiking the Adirondacks. Jessica enjoyed sitting in the bottom of the canoe while Ted paddled. Jeremy liked four-wheeling and fishing alongside his father. Theodore is survived by his wife Christine, his children Jeremy, Rose, and Jessica (son-in-law Steven Martin and grandchildren Miriam and Claire). He is also survived by all his siblings, spouses, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents.
