Theresa M Begor

Mrs. Theresa M. Begor, 78, of Terrace West Apartments, Plattsburgh, New York, and formerly of Mooers Forks, passed away Saturday June 28, 2008 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility in Burlington, Vermont. She was born in Ellenburg, New York on July 23, 1929 the daughter of Herbert and Catherine (Miner) Tourville. Theresa was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and her feline companion Cindy. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of Americas Court Little Rose 1300, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Council 6135 and St. Alexander's Church, Morrisonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Catherine Tourville, her husband William Begor, a sister, Beatrice Williamson, her brothers; Francis, Raymond and Gordon Tourville. Theresa is survived by four sons; Howard Begor of Plattsburgh, New York, Larry Begor and his wife Norma of Mooers, New York, Gary Begor and his wife Molly of Rouses Point, New York, Ronald Begor and his wife Paula of Morrisonville, New York, one daughter, Marilyn Begor and her companion John Rock of Morrisonville, New York, a sister, Bernice Sibley of Morrisonville, New York, two brothers; Ronald Tourville and his wife Beverly of Chateaugay, New York, Richard Tourville and his wife Isabelle of Malone, New York, seven grandchildren; Kristie, Kryn, Brenden, Jamy and his wife Beth, Anne and Tricia Begor, Amy Racine and her husband Pete, one great grandchild Ryan Racine, three step grandchildren; Jason Tourville and his wife Christy, Jennifer LaFountain and her husband Todd, Meaghan Rabideau and her husband Josh, two step great grandchildren; Arleigh and Maggie LaFountain, several nieces, nephews and her many friends at Terrace West. At Theresa's request there will be no calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edmund's Church in Ellenburg. Entombment will follow at Whispering Maples Mausoleum in Ellenburg Depot. Friends wishing may make donations to the Adirondack Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
