Theresa J. Fountain, 78, of Plattsburgh, New York, passed away on June 12, 2013 at CVPH with her family by her side. Theresa was born in Plattsburgh on April 18, 1935 the daughter of Virginia "Jennie" (Stone) and Willard Miller. She graduated from Saint Peters High School in 1954. Theresa was married to Roy J. Fountain in 1956 and they spent 25 wonderful years together before his passing. Theresa worked for Fishermans before becoming a full time homemaker. She enjoyed volunteering at Monty Street School and was President of Parent Advisory Committee for the Follow Through Program. Theresa also enjoyed her many years working with local teens and founded the South End Teen Center now known as the Ted K Center. She enjoyed crocheting, word puzzles and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Theresa is survived by daughters Linda Miner and Donna Spinner of Plattsburgh, Jennie Harris and husband David Harris of Morrisonville, Sheila Conway and fiancé David Marsh of Plattsburgh, Amy Nesbitt and fiancé Allen Parent of Chazy, Michelle Laduke and husband Alan Laduke of West Chazy. Sons, Roy Fountain and wife Donna Fountain of Plattsburgh, Ray "Joseph" Fountain and companion Robin Beshon of West Chazy, Patrick Fountain and fiancé Angela Hogan of Peru. 32 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Brothers, Willard Miller Jr. and wife Betty, Donald Miller and wife Sandy, Gerald "Richard" Miller and wife Linda, Bernard Miller and wife Linda, all of Plattsburgh. Sisters, Helen Lemieux of Plattsburgh, Anna Guyette of Watertown, Bernice Oliver and companion Jim Newton of New Hampshire, Sister-in-law Pauline Miller of Plattsburgh and many nieces and nephews. She was also known has "Meme" to a multitude of close family friends and their children. Theresa is preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy J. Fountain whom she has lovingly waited to join for the past 31 years. Brother, Douglas Miller. Brothers-in-law Richard Guyette and Donald Lemieux. Grandchildren Brandon Fountain and Corey Fountain. Visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home of Plattsburgh on Sunday, June 16th from 1pm to 4pm. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Church on Monday, June 17th at 1:30pm. There will be an Open House to Celebrate the Life of Theresa following the mass, until 7PM, at the American Legion Post 20 on the Quarry Rd in Plattsburgh.
