Thomas D Burdo Jr

Thomas D. Burdo, Jr. 83, of Moffitt Road in Plattsburgh, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with family by his side. He was born on September 26, 1935 in Plattsburgh, the son of the late Thomas and Evelyn (Paul) Burdo.
He served in the U.S. Army and later was employed by Bouyea Bakery for 35 years and retired as an account manager. He enjoyed bowling, BINGO, boating, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children; Thomas D. Burdo III and companion Nikki, and his son Cooper Thomas, Terry J. and Mindy L. Burdo and their daughter Meegan, his companion Jeannie Pecor, a sister in law and brother in law; Sharron and Gary Nephew, and nieces Janelle and Jami and nephews Bobby, Steven, and Brian.
His wife of 51 years Carol (Burnell) Burdo, a sister and brothers in law; Marjorie and Robert Pote, Danny Burnell, and his father in law and mother in law Herbert and Kathryn (Dickson) Burnell passed away earlier.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 3:00pm to 5:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 pm from the Brown Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be in St. Mary’s of the Lake Cemetery on Cumberland Head on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be offered to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org.
