Thomas W Facey

Thomas William Facey, aged 70 years of Mooers, NY, passed surrounded by his family on June 9, 2022. Tom was born in Gouverneur, NY on Dec. 28, 1951 he was the eldest child of William Facey and Sylvia Facey. His siblings Carolyn Sharland, Timothy Facey, Marilyn Bouchard, Stephen Facey, and Stephanie Moore looked up to him. Together they shared many fond memories of growing up in a close-knit family with much teasing and laughter. Tom was dedicated to his faith as a Jehovah's Witness and was baptized in 1966. He graduated from O.F.A in 1970 and shortly after began his lifelong career as a U.S. Customs Broker and retired in 2016. He then provided his time driving members of the community through JCEO. Tom was a devoted family man; outside of work, Tom enjoyed traveling with his family, camping, fishing with his children, and working on his lawn and garden. Friends, family, and neighbors will always remember Tom as a bighearted, openhanded, and loyal man. Thomas is preceded by his wife Michele (Gray) Facey; through his faith, he found and married the one and only love of his life in 1973. They spent 37 beautiful years together until her untimely death in 2011. He fathered two daughters, Brandy Facey-Larche and Danielle Duprey, and three grandchildren, Giles Duprey, Eliot Wright, and Harper Facey.
A memorial of his life will be held on June 25th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 186 Rand Hill Rd, Morrisonville, NY. A reception will follow at 848 Durand Rd, Plattsburgh, NY. For any inquiries please email BAFaceyLarche@gmail.com
