Thomas G "Tom" Preston

Morrisonville Mr. Thomas G. "Tom" Preston, 92, of the Rand Hill road, Morrisonville passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 at his home. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 17, 1921 the son of Thomas G. and Margaret (Neuberger) Preston. Tom was a veteran of WWII serving in the U. S. Air Force. He retired from the NYPD as a Deputy Inspector after thirty six years of service. He is survived by his wife Dorothy M. (Brennan) Preston of Morrisonville, his daughter, Jill Szalkowski and her husband Guy of Morrisonville, two grandchildren; Guy Szalkowski of San Diego, CA and Lee Szalkowski of Morrisonville, several nieces and nephews. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends wishing may make donations to the charity of ones choice.
