Timothy Wayne Senecal, 65, of Plattsburgh, N.Y., died peacefully in his sleep Thursday, July 23rd, at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Mass. Tim was born on March 31, 1955, in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the son of Ralph Senecal Jr. and June (LePage) Senecal. Tim leaves behind his sons, Tyler (Teresa), of Albany, N.Y., and Timmy John (Lainie), of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and his stepchildren, Kelly (Pete) Hooper and Lewis (Christina) Phares. Tim was the oldest of nine siblings; Randy (Debra) Senecal, Carroll (Jim) Bordeau, Ralph Senecal III (deceased), Holly (Eric) Scott, Colleen (Andy) Bromsey, Mary (Guy) Mulder, Hope Senecal, and Tracey (Bob) Blauser. Tim also leaves behind a grandson, Gavin, many nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom he loved very much.
Tim was an avid Boston Red Sox/New York Giants fan and enjoyed an unforgettable visit to Fenway Park. He was also an accomplished bowler participating in many bowling leagues and, for over thirty years, drove for City Taxi where his warm smile, and lead foot, got people quickly, but safely, to their destinations. Tim was a talented vocalist, his favorite artists being Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, and participated in many karaoke competitions.
A memorial service will be held at Brown Funeral Home on Friday, July 31st from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will be immediately following at St. Peter's Cemetery with a private reception held with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Tim's name to St. Joseph's Soup Kitchen, Treadwells Mill.
