Tina M Downey

Tina M. Downey, 57, of Nightengale Drive in Plattsburgh, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022 at her home. She was born in Potsdam on December 4, 1964, the daughter of Robert and Roberta (Butchino) Trombley.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Downey, her son Scott and his wife Colbie, Downey of Potsdam, son Ryan Downey of Peru, daughter Kristy of Plattsburgh, grandchildren, Kyden, 4.5, twins Rory and Everly, 2.5. She is also survived by her mother, Roberta, of Plattsburgh, siblings Kevin, wife Shelby, Trombley of Georgia, Larry, wife Keela, Trombley of Plattsburgh, Robert Jr, significant other Fran Connel, Trombley of Plattsburgh, Jeffery and his wife Betsy, Trombley of Plattsburgh, Sandra, husband Gary, Wells of Morrisonville, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father Robert who she missed dearly and is now finally reconnected with.
Tina enjoyed knitting, playing on the computer, watching movies, baking her famous chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies, listening to music. And most importantly she loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, who were the light of her life.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 3:00PM- 4:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 4:00PM in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
