Todd's Life Todd Christopher Filion, age 45, from West Chazy, New York died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. He will be dearly missed by his family and a multitude of friends. Todd was born in Plattsburgh, New York on December 13, 1971, the son of Ralph Filion and Sharon Cilono. He married Laurie Seymour in Plattsburgh, New York. Todd loved his family, friends, children and God. His favorite hobby was flying remote control airplanes. He loved the outdoors and sleeping under the stars. Todd is survived by his wife, Laurie Seymour, son, Todd Filion, Jr. daughter, Kelsie Lynn Filion ; step-son, Darnell Seymour, step-daughters, Crystal Boyea, Grace Miola, Todd's father, Ralph Filion of Plattsburgh and mother, Sharon Cilono of Orlando, FL; sister, Michelle Filion Schon and brother-in-law, David Schon of Pottstown, PA.; brother Craig Filion of Plattsburgh, brother, Joey Filion of Saranac, half-brother David Filion of Virginia Beach, VA, half-sisters, Jackie Filion, Judy Jackson and Debbie Filion of Sarasota, FL; nieces, Tiffany Filion and Raelyn Schon; nephews, Jason, Christian and Justin Schon; aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend a mass that will be held at St. Peter's Church, 114 Cornelia St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901 on January 11, 2017 at 10:00 am with a reception immediately following the mass. A future celebration of Todd's life will be planned for the summer of 2017. Donations in Todd's memory may be made to The Champlain Valley Center for outpatient substance abuse treatment, 20 Ampersand Dr, Plattsburgh, NY 12901 or the St. Lawrence Residential Treatment Program at 1 Chimney Point Dr, Ogdensburg, NY 13669 in lieu of flowers.
