Travis G Skelly

Travis G. Skelly, 41, of Morrisonville, passed away at home on July 9, 2022. He was born on March 25, 1981 in Plattsburgh, the son of the late Ruth Macey and Gene Skelly.
He enjoyed being with his family and friends. Travis loved the outdoors year-round, going ice fishing, ice skating going to his “camp” or riding his atv, motorcycle, bicycles, snowmobile, jeeps, trucks and cars; if it rolled he rode it! He was a skilled mechanic and welder and could fix anything. He was known for helping nature, being there any time someone needed his, he said “Yes” to everyone. Travis will be forever missed by all.
Left to cherish his memory is his companion, Tina Rivers, his beloved canine Bella, his siblings Tim (Sharon) Manion, Tina (Kathleen) McGee, Kevin (Cathy) Manion, his nieces and nephews, Mackenzie and Emily Manion, Jessica and Jennifer DuBrey, Jonah, Zoey, Zayne, Wyatt McGee, Corey, Shane, Steven, and Heather Manion, great-nieces and great-nephews, Maevery, Tiana, Dylan, Macey, Adrien, Adien, Ebyn, Ella, Killian, Madison, Avery, Emma, Lucas, Julian, and Haileigh, a special great-great-nephew Theodore Davis, his life-long best friends Greg Blow and Corey Provost, and many others.
He was predeceased by his parents, great-nephew Elvien Kriplin, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 11:00-12:30pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00pm at Our Lady of Victory Church. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Corey and Steven Manion, Lance Kriplin, Dylan Heuer, Greg Blow and Corey Provost.
