Vera N Dragon

Vera N. Dragon, 87, of Route 22, Moores, NY, passed away on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Dannemora, NY on June 4, 1930 the daughter of William and Mabel (LaFlore) LaPlant. Vera married Elrick Dragon at St. Louis of France Church in Sciota. She worked for ARPAC in Plattsburgh as a Floor Supervisor for many years. Vera was a parishioner at St. Louis of France Church in Sciota. She enjoyed BINGO and volunteered at many church dinners. Vera was predeceased by her parents, her brothers; Gordon, Niles, Don and Wayne, her husband Elrick, a daughter Karen, a son Brent and a grandson Brady. She is survived by her sons; Bruce Dragon and his wife Carol, of Martinez, GA, Brian Dragon and his wife Carla of Altona and Brad Dragon and his wife Heather of Altona, five grandchildren; Jodie, Jason, Jeremy, Joshua and Victoria, six great grandchildren; Jacob, Jared, Joshua, Patrick, Ivy and Tarryn, several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Thursday October 12, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Altona. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday October 13, 2017 at 10:30 pm at Holy Angels Church in Altona, burial will follow in St. Louis of France Cemetery in Sciota.
