Verna L Greeno

Verna L. Greeno, 89, of Malone, passed away peacefully Tuesday October 26, 2021at her home under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Ellenburg, NY on August 27,1932, the daughter of Daniel and Emma (Ryan) Greeno.
Verna retired from Bow Plastics where she was a supervisor.
She enjoyed visiting with family, playing the lottery and sitting on her porch watching the birds.
Verna was predeceased by her parents; She was the last surviving member of her siblings Gloria Greeno, Madeline Greeno, Pauline Dubuque, Mildred Moore, Cecile Greeno, Hilda Kelley, Earl Greeno, Jane Coryer, Elizabeth Drowne, Doris Ashline and Gerald Greeno.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, Jack Kelley of Malone, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Committal prayers will be Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Cemetery Chapel with the Rev. William G. Reamer presiding.
Friends wishing in her memory may make donations to Hospice of Malone or masses may be said in her honor at St. Andre Bessette Parish in Malone.
