Vincent L Hall

Mr. Vincent L. Hall, Sr., 85, formerly of Brooklyn, New York and most recently of West Chazy, New York passed away Tuesday April 29, 2008 at the CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia on May 15, 1922 the son of Theodore and Anne (Leigh) Hall. Vincent retired from the US Postal Service after thirty seven years of service. He then worked at the Wellington Hotel in New York City. Vincent was an avid reader and enjoyed reading many daily newspapers. A man of few words, but was heard when he spoke. He was predeceased by his parents Theodore and Anne Hall, his wife Gertrude Hall and two sons, Harold and Robert Hall. Vincent is survived by four sons Vincent L. Hall, Jr. and his wife Pearl of Brooklyn, NY, Michael A. Hall and his wife Phyllis of Brooklyn, NY, Kenneth F. Hall and his wife Gilda of Baisley, PA, Carlton Peter Hall and his wife Nancy of West Chazy, NY, a daughter Annette F. Hall, PhD of Brooklyn, NY, a stepson Larry Price and his wife Carol of NJ, two daughters-in-law Loretta Hall of Brooklyn, NY and Patrcia "Pat" Hall of Atlanta, GA; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Johnson of Brooklyn, NY and Shirley Johnson of Norfolk, VA; fourteen grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be Monday May 5, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Elder Thomas Breyette of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness officiating.
