Viola May Lucia

Mrs. Viola May Lucia, 73, of Devils Den Road in Altona, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on March 4, 1939, the daughter of the late Frank and Leah (Brean) Warren. She is survived by her children: Charlene Peryea and fiancé Tim Ryan, Meloney Pelkey, Eunice Clark and fiancé Sam Edwards, Eugene Lucia, Jr., all of Altona, her grandchildren; Marsha Peryea and companion Randy Perry, James Pelkey and companion Jennifer Todd, Eric Peryea and wife Andrea, Mandy Pelkey and companion Heath Relation, Brandon Edwards, Ezra Clark, Haileigh Edwards, Donevin Edwards, her great grandchildren; D'Andre Lemieux, Ryleigh Peryea, Hailey Todd, her sons in law; Charles Peryea and Mark Clark, her sisters in law; Helen Warren, Judy Kennedy, Alice Warren, a special family friend Theresa Quesnel, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her pet "Scooby". She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Lucia, Sr., 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 3123 Miner Farm Road in Altona. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Monday, November 12, 2012 at Holy Angels Church in Altona. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
