Mrs. Virginia A. "Ginny" Cope, 66, of Hamilton Street, Plattsburgh, New York passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, New York on July 22, 1941 the daughter on Louis and Rose (Proterra) DiFabbio. Ginny had worked for the DiFabbio and Bertoli Construction Company in Plattsburgh. She was collector and trader of Beanie Babies. Ginny was predeceased by her parents Louis and Rose DiFabbio and a brother Frank DiFabbio. She is survived by her husband of forty six years Edward L. Cope of Plattsburgh, one son; Michael Cope of Plattsburgh, two daughters; Lisa Cope, Joellen Enns of Washington State, one sister; JoAnne Dandrow and her husband Robert of Plattsburgh, five grandsons; Christopher, Nicholas, Joseph, MaCullen and Benjamin, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday May 28, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York.
