Virginia M Daniels

Plattsburgh Mrs. Virginia M. Daniels, 96, of Plattsburgh, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her family by her side. She was born in Richford Springs, New York on August 11, 1917. Virginia enjoyed being with her family. She loved attending various birthdays, weddings, backyard parties and other special celebrations. Virginia liked going shopping and eating dinner out at many restaurants. Since she always was in the backseat for many road trips, she often was known as "Miss Daisy" to her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters; Mary LaGoy, and Betty Benjamin, sister, Jean Desrocher, grandchildren Rick and Jane LaGoy, Ballston Lake, New York, Shari Cameron from South Hero, Vermont, Thomas and Kristen LaGoy, Lexington, Kentucky, Scott and Julie LaGoy, Malta, New York, Kasie and Kevin Shiflett, Plattsburgh, New York, Michael and Natasha Benjamin, West Chazy, New York, Jennifer Benjamin and her companion Eric, Rolesville, North Carolina, Autumn Benjamin and her companion Adam Brandt, Plattsburgh, New York, Ryan and Caitlin Benjamin, Plattsburgh, New York; great grandchildren; Heather, Dan his wife Jamie, Nathan, Lindsay, Michelle, Elizabeth, Russell, Makiah, Cade, Callie, Kylie, Madison, Dylan, Teagan, Demi, Haley, Elly, Jack, Landon, Kiara, and Jaiden; great-great grandchildren; Isabella, Aiden, Brandon, Mia, Anthony, and Regann. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Daniels, and her mother, Delia Daniels Provost, son-in-law Wayne LaGoy, other family members including; Roy Daniels, Florence Covel, Betty Covel, Leona Edwards, and Arthur Provost. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 7:00-9:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home,29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am at St. Peter's Church.
