Plattsburgh Virginia M. Nera, 72, of Davis Pond Road, Peru, NY passed away on Saturday December 6, 2014 at Heritage Commons Residential Health Care in Ticonderoga, NY. She was born in Pangasinan, Philippines on March 4, 1942. Virginia worked for Monaghan Medical in Plattsburgh. She was predeceased by her husband Eduardo Nera, her mother Concepcion Mejia Saballa, her sisters; Josefina Mejia, a brother, Ernesto Mejia and her brother-in-law; Dominador Nera and a son-in-law Walter Stacey. Virginia is survived by her children; Greg Nera, Arnold Nera and his wife Beth, Dante Nera, Joselito Nera and Helen, Edmund Nera and Imelda, Virgie Stacey, Estelita Nera and Francis Gapasin, her grandchildren; Kayla and Kyle Gapasin, Aidan Stacey, Alison and Louie Nera, Denise and her brother, Janine and Jenjen, Joshelle and Jorielle Nera, Rosario and her sister, one sister Remedios Mejia. Calling hours will be held on Friday December 12, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and on Saturday December 13, 2014 from 9:00 to 10:30 am at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
