Plattsburgh Mrs. Vivian Lancto, 93, of the Vilas Home died Tuesday, July 06, 2010 at the CVPH Medical Center with family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, New York on April 27, 1917 the daughter of Solomon and Evelyn (Varno) Garrant. Vivian enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the West Plattsburgh Senior Citizens Group and traveled with them and she was a member of St. Peter's Church. Vivian was predeceased by her parents, her husband Harold Lancto, two brothers Harry and Francis Garrant. She is survived by a son Carl Lancto and his companion Patricia Gilman of Plattsburgh and a daughter Sally Le Clair and her husband Thomas of Plattsburgh, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday, July 8, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Church. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends wishing may make donations to the Foundation of CVPH Medical Center.
