Morrisonville Mrs. Wanita V. Agnew, 73, of Mason Street in Morrisonville, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on April 16, 1936. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially around the Holidays. She also enjoyed crafts. She is survived by her husband of almost 56 years, Elmer Agnew, her children; Michele Agnew and her companion Patrick Verrillo of Morrisonville, Frank Agnew of Morrisonville, Peter Agnew and his companion Michele Harling of Plattsburgh, Terri and Tom Hemingway of Champlain, Elmer Buck "o"and Lori Agnew Jr. of Peru, Deborah and Christopher Ohlsen of Mountain View, N.Y., her siblings Beverly Devins of Saranac, Mary Theresa "Mitzy" and Leonard Seymour of Morrisonville, Clayton "Bud" Frenyea of Morrisonville, 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Her mother, Myrtle Frenyea, a granddaughter, Shannon Ohlsen, her sisters Linda Tripp, Rose Collins, and a brother Richard Frenyea passed away earlier. In accordance with Wanita's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
