Plattsburgh Mr. Warren J. Manor, 76, of Oak Street, died Wednesday, May 07, 2008 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in West Chazy on November 11, 1931 son of the late Charles M. and Laura M. (Favreau) Manor. Warren joined the US Navy in August of 1950, serving until June of 1954 as a Radar man, 2nd Class. He was a life member of American Legion Post #20 in Plattsburgh where he was currently serving as Department Vice-Commander of the 3rd and 4th District, Department of New York, he was also a past Post Commander, a past Clinton County Commander, a past 4th District Rehabilitation Committee Chairman, 4th District Legionnaire of the year in 1999. Warren was a 3rd degree member of Knights of Columbus Council #255 in Plattsburgh, a 4th Degree Member Wadhams General Assembly Knights of Columbus, Past Grand Knight of Willsboro-Essex Council 7461. He also served as a Republican County Committeeman, a past Chairman of City of Plattsburgh Republican Committee, a charter member of Battle of Plattsburgh Association, a member of Plattsburgh Charter Revision Committee, member 1992 City of Plattsburgh Re-Districting Committee. Warren was also Director of Clinton County Veterans Service Agency from 1996 to 2005. He enjoyed playing golf, shooting pool and traveling. Warren is survived by his wife, Audrey M. (Bedard) Manor, they were married on February 23, 1952 in Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh, a son, Joseph W. Manor and his wife, Ellen of St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, five daughters, Sherl A. Drollette and her companion, Ray Devins of Plattsburgh, Deborah L Zerrahn and her companion, Kevin Oddy of Saranac Lake, Laura J. Raville and her husband, Thomas of Plattsburgh, Annette M. Degoff and her husband, Kreg of Queen Creek, Arizona, Janet R. Reeves and her husband Edward of Athens, thirteen grandchildren, Cory Manor and his wife, Tammy, Melissa Manor, Adam Drollette and his companion, Nicola Lang, Jennifer Drollette and her companion, Jason Trudeau, Kristin Zerrahn and her fiancé, Dan Eilers, Allison Zerrahn and her companion, Trevor Stanton, Erin Raville and her fiancé, Andrew Castine, Christopher Raville, David Gollner, Brittany Gollner, Beau Degoff, Julia Reeves and Rachael Reeves, four great grandchildren, Jaedan Eilers, Riley Manor, Sadie Manor, Mason Stanton, two sisters in law, Jane Manor and Marie Manor and several nieces and nephews. Warren was pre-deceased by his parents, his brothers, Charles Manor, John Manor, Loren Manor, William Manor and Wallace Manor. Calling hours will be Friday, May 9, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh. Members of American legion Post #20 and Veterans of Foreign Wars will meet Friday evening at 7:30 PM for services. Members of the Knights of Columbus Council #255 will meet Friday evening at 8:00 PM for services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 11:00 AM from Our Lady of Victory Church, South Catherine Street, Plattsburgh. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, South Catherine Street in Plattsburgh with full military honors. A reception will follow the burial services at American Legion, Post #20 in Plattsburgh.
