Wayne Calkins

Wayne Calkins, 62, of Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 at UVMHN:CVPH. He was born in Plattsburgh on September 19, 1959 the son of Richard and Janet (Short) Calkins.

Wayne loved to collect baseball cards, coins and toy cars in his free time. He loved ton watch Star Trek, action movies, UFC and boxing. He had a love for football, watching the games, of which, the Giants were his favorite team. He also enjoyed getting together with his friends when he was able to get around, and play poker.

He is survived by his wife, Lee Calkins, and his three daughters, Althe Mace, Nichole Calkins and Heather Calkins, and five grandchildren, his mother, Janet (Short) calkins and his remaining four siblings, Kathy Calkins, Lisa Loveday, Jeff Calkins and Thomas Calkins.

Wayne was predeceased by his father, Richard Calkins Sr. and his oldest brother, Richard Calkins Jr.

At the request of the family, there will be no services.
