Wayne A Jiguere

Peru Mr. Wayne A. Jiguere, 73, of Blake Road in Peru, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh surrounded by his family. He was born in Plattsburgh on July 11, 1937, the son of Clifford and Cora (Frenyea) Jiguere. Wayne served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1962. He was employed at Georgia Pacific for over 35 years until his retirement. He enjoyed playing the lottery He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doris (Reome) Jiguere, his children: Rachel and Roger LaBounty of Morrisonville, Wayne J. and Kay Jiguere Jr. of Keeseville, Bill Allen Jiguere of Morrisonville, his siblings; Frederick Jiguere of Plattsburgh, Kenneth and Kathy Jiguere of Cadyville, Raymond and Loretta Jiguere of Plattsburgh, Sue and Wayne Royal of Syracuse, Judy and Ford Anson of Plattsburgh, Jane Delaney of Dannemora, 7 grandchildren; Lacey Rose, Joshua, Tabitha, Aliza and Austin Jiguere, Brandon LaBounty, Alex Lafountain , and several nieces , nephews and cousins. His parents passed away earlier. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 9:00am to 9:45 am at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Peter's Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date.
