Wayne G "One Armed Bandit" Blake Sr

Mr. Wayne G. "One Armed Bandit" Blake, Sr., 55, of Birch Street, Plattsburgh, New York passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, New York. He was born in Saranac, New York on February 26, 1953 the son of Lawrence W. and Alfreda (Bushey) Blake. Wayne loved hunting, fishing, boating, camping and working on cars. He will be remembered as always being there to help anyone in need. Wayne was predeceased by his parents Lawrence W. and Alfreda Blake, one brother Terry Blake, Sr., two sisters; Tina Blake and Charlotte Blake. He is survived by his wife of thirty five years Barbara J. (Smith) Blake of Plattsburgh, two daughters; Rebecca M. Blake and Barbara A. Blake both of Plattsburgh, one son Wayne G. Blake, Jr. and his wife Pauline of Plattsburgh, six grandchildren; Jenny, Shiann, Magan, Jonathan, Wayne G. and Lucus Blake, three brothers; Billy Blake and his wife Dee Dee of Troy, New York, Gary Blake and his wife Jeanne of Grafton, New York, Larry Blake and his companion Kathy Gremich of West Chazy, New York, one sister, Rose Blake of Plattsburgh, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York.
