Wendy Darrah

Cadyville Mrs. Wendy Darrah, 45, of Route 3, Cadyville, New York passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at her home with her loving family by her side under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Plattsburgh, New York on May 10, 1965 the daughter of Gary and Brenda (Gamelin) Babbie. She was a graduate of Northeastern Clinton Central School Class 1983 and CVPH School of Radiology. Wendy worked at Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility in Burlington, Vermont as a Radiology Technician. She enjoyed sewing and crafts, but most importantly spending time with family and friends. Wendy was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Marion and Lawrence Gamelin and her paternal grandfather Edward Babbie. Wendy is survived by her husband Scott Darrah of Cadyville, three daughters; Samantha Kelley of Sheldon, Vermont, Ashley Roussin and husband Jake of Ft. Polk Air Force Base, Louisiana, Nicole Dumas of Burlington, Vermont, her parents Gary and Brenda Babbie of Rouses Point, two sisters; Laura Bechard and her husband Mark of Champlain, Angel Cooper and her husband John of Rouses Point, a brother Gary Babbie, Jr. and his wife Laurie of Rouses Point, a step daughter Jacquelyn Darrah of Voorhees, New Jersey, one grandson Gage, her mother-in-law Shirley Darrah of Plattsburgh, several nieces and nephews also survive her. Family and friends are invited to her home Saturday, May 14th, 2011 at 2192 Route 3, Cadyville, New York at 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at her home with the Rev. Scott Seymour, Pastor of the Catholic Community of St. Joseph's and St. Alexander's Church presiding.
