William W "Bill" Bouyea Sr

Plattsburgh Mr. William W. "Bill" Bouyea, Sr., 86, of Independence Drive, Plattsburgh, NY passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at his home with family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on September 28, 1928, the son of the late Wallace and Flora (Finnegan) Bouyea. Bill was employed as a Sales Manager for Bouyea Baking Co. retiring after forty two years. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Bill was a life member of BPOE Plattsburgh Lodge 621 and the Knights of Columbus Council #255 and St. John's Church. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years Rita (DeCelle) Bouyea in 2013, his parents, two sisters, Sally Bechard and JoAnne Carroll. He is survived by two sons; William Bouyea, Jr. of Plattsburgh, Brian Bouyea and his wife Deborah of Ave Maria, Florida, two daughters; Bonnie Barrett of Virginia and Becky Ketcham of Plattsburgh, a sister in law Pauline Egan of Plattsburgh, seven grandchildren; Laurie Dumont, Bethany Barrett, Elizabeth Bouyea, Kristie McKinney and her husband Bradley, Katie Rogers and her husband Paul, Peter Barrett and Jonathan Ketcham and his wife Courtney, three great grandchildren; Sophia and Gracie Dumont, Lily Barrett and Lucille Ketcham, several nieces and nephews. In accordance with Bill's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Friends wishing may make donations to the Alice Ballard Fund at Hospice of the North Country or St. John's Church.
