William "Bill" M. Clark

William "Bill" M Clark of Plattsburgh NY passed away peacefully Sunday, August 25th, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Malone NY on September 28th, 1932, the son of Miller R Clark and Ruthe M Kiefer. Bill was a man of quiet sincere faith and integrity. He was a true gentleman with a deep love of life, family and country. He was a proud U.S Air Force veteran who served in Occupied Japan, Korea and Vietnam during his 20 year career. He was a committed supporter of veteran's groups, particularly the North Country Honor Flight charity. He is survived by his partner of 16 years Arleen Smith; his children, Kim and her husband John MacLean, Shawn Clark and his wife Allison Clark, and Timothy M Clark; grandchildren, Kevin and his wife Edith Clark, Kelly and her husband Bobby Rose and Elizabeth "Lily" Clark; great grandson Benjamin Rose; big brother Peter Clark and several nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Rosemarie J (Brennan) Clark; his parents and brother Edward Clark. Visitation will take place on Friday August 30 2024 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Brown Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday August 31st 2024 at St John's Church in Plattsburgh at 10:00 am. Arrangements will be entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
