William Edward Braunstein

William Edward Braunstein, 73, Morrisonville, NY, passed away on Thursday May 9, 2019 at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh. He was born in Astoria, NY on May 12, 1945 the son of William and Eleanor (Krajicek) Braunstein.
William served in the United States Army in the 1960’s, after being honorably discharged he worked as New York City Taxi Driver for a number of years before being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. He had a great love and appreciation for automobiles.
William was predeceased by his wife Nancy Braunstein, a brother Steve Braunstein and a brother-in-law Edward Brandel.
He is survived by a son Michael Braunstein of San Francisco CA, his sisters-in-law; Patricia Brandel of West Islip, NY, Penny Cummings and husband Joseph of Morrisonville, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews also survive him.
Calling hours will be held on Monday May 13, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:30 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 6:30 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
