Mr. William C. "Bill" Cooper, 46, of Peru St., Plattsburgh, New York died unexpectedly Saturday, March 12, 2016 at his home. He was born in Geneva, New York on September 16, 1969, the son of Rev. A. William and Margo (Kelsey) Cooper. He attended Willsboro High School, where he was standout soccer and baseball player, later graduating from The Deck House in Wiscasset, Maine. He worked as a cook in several locations in New York and Florida. He was an avid sports fan, cheering for his favorite teams, the Florida Gators and the New York Yankees. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed music, playing his drum set, or fishing with his father. He will be missed for his kindness by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, and his sister, Rebekah Cooper and her fiancé, David Bayles. Calling hours will be Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Plattsburgh, NY. A memorial mass will be at a later date at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Tupper Lake, NY. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, NY (518)561-3980.
