Plattsburgh Mr. William A. Dubuque, 73, of Cusprinie Way in Plattsburgh, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at his home with family by his side and under the care of Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Plattsburgh on July 29, 1940, the son of the late Walter and Pauline (Greeno) Dubuque, Sr. Bill co-owned and operated D & P Plumbing for many years. He was a member of Keeseville Knights of Columbus # 4689 and a 4th degree member of Bishop Wadhams Assembly # 706. He enjoyed fishing, camping and going to races at Airborne Raceway. He is survived by his children; William Dubuque Jr., Steven Dubuque, Joseph Dubuque, Robert Dubuque, George Dubuque, Carol Lashway, Starr Dubuque, three stepsons Warren Robare, Jr., Alvin Ducatte and George Ducatte, three brothers; Walter Dubuque, Jr. Robert Dubuque and Raymond Dubuque, his sisters; Faith Garrant, Linda LaDue, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Laurie Dubuque, his sisters; Ramona Ceresky, Lorraine Parrott and Debbie Dubuque. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Victory Church. Interment will follow in St. Peter's cemetery. Memorial donations may be offered to Hospice of the North Country or American Renal Associates .
